TEGV comes together with children of two different age groups in terms of development steps. The first one is middle childhood, which is generally the period of time between ages 6-12 and the other one is the final grade that TEGV comes together with, which is the puberty period 8th grade is completed in and can go up from approximately 13 to 16 years of age. TEGV Education Programs are prepared and implemented by considering the development dimensions of their target audience, children. 4 different dimensions are used to support the children’s development. Each of these dimensions are interrelated with the others. It is quite difficult to categorize certain skills, learning processes and experiences and most of the time a single skill is related to more than one dimension.
Psychomotor / Physical Development
Physical development dimension includes all kinds of bodily and maturing processes of the children. TEGV aims to support the physical development of children that is closely related to their physical health and wellbeing with its education programs and sports facilities.
TEGV is trying to provide children and young people a protective, supportive and constructive social environment by considering that the positive experiences they have in the society has a big impact on their social developments. This skill area includes communicating information to other people, interpreting information received from others and answering properly. Social skills are important skills regarding effective interpersonal communication.
Positive communication with peers and adults, understanding social clues and empathy, respecting others, self-confidence, self-presentation, communication, conflict resolution, reconciliation, cooperation, helping each other, group work, adapting, leadership, citizenship skills
Cognitive development includes all the processes related to individuals getting information, structuring this information and use it appropriately. It works together with elements such as experience, social transition, maturing and balancing. This skill area includes information and skills that aim to develop thinking, reasoning and similar mental skills.
Thoroughly learning with attention, perception, memory, reasoning, analyzing, critical thinking, decision making, target setting, creative thinking, problem solving, information and communication technologies literacy, planning and organization, strategic thinking, critical thinking etc. skills
All the processes regarding the perception and explanation of emotions defined as impressions made by a certain object, incident or individuals in a person’s inner world is examined in this dimension. Emotional dimension is in a close relationship with social and cognitive dimensions and skills related to communication are studied in this dimension.

Development of Values
Being a non-governmental organization that is aware of corporate and ethical values, the mission of TEGV is based on believing that education of values is necessary for social reconciliation, creating a sense of togetherness and the protection of the environment and offers children and volunteer activities organized in that sense.
