Born on June 3, 1941 in Ankara, Suna Kıraç completed her education in the fields of banking and finance at Boğaziçi University after Arnavutköy Girls' College. She worked actively at Koç Holding from 1961, when she started working with her father, Vehbi Koç, until 2010, when she left her position as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. In addition to her success in business life, she has made very important contributions to the development of our country in the fields of education, culture and art. Leading the establishment of Koç School and Koç University, Kıraç, Educational Volunteers Foundation of TÜrkiye (TEGV), Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation.
She played an important role in the transition of Mediterranean Civilizations Research Center (AKMED), Suna and Inan Kıraç Foundation, Pera Museum, Istanbul Research Center and Koç University Neurodegeneration Research Laboratory (NDALL) institutions to life. Suna Kıraç also contributed to the establishment of Galatasaray University and the restructuring of Galatasaray High School and Primary School. Due to its exemplary and pioneering works on education, culture, art and health, she received;

Suna Kıraç, who struggled with Als disease for many years and passed away on September 15, 2020, will not be forgotten with her inspiring pioneering personality and will continue to set an example for future generations.
